Client's Objective:
Mobile Movement is a network that connects people from all over the world with a common social mandate. They aim to facilitate direct communication with and connect entrepreneurs in remote and under-served locations with microfinancing, consultation and business partnerships.
Solution:
- Developed a sophisticated multi-channel Web communications framework for a variety of devices
- Developed a mobile-based application with instant SMS notification to advance communication between parties
Results:
As part of the UN-HABITAT's "Urban Entrepreneurship Program", the initial prototype featured 15 youth groups in low-income neighborhoods of Nairobi, Kenya. The prototype quickly achieved all organizational objectives and is currently advancing into a more elaborate phase with the assistance of the World Bank. This project was a Cannes MIPCOM Interactive Honoree and received a nomination for a Webby Award.
